It's been a while since I did a prop for my personal work. I wanted something hard surface but with some challenging design elements to it. Going into it, I thought the textures would be the easy part, but as I dove into the different metallic surfaces, it became much more of a material study for me than modeling practice. I really had a lot of fun with it.

Based on a real life prop (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/750975306627516778/), but I wanted to go for an older but cleaner look. And for some fun I added some Bioshock lore to make it fit that universe. I think the style matches well for it.
